Treat Recipes

Oatmeal
    Turkey Treats

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup of plain Quaker Oats
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of minced garlic

Mix everything together, using your hands is best. Knead it like dough. Cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil, grease, and spread out a thin layer of the turkey. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let it cool and cut up into bite size pieces. Freeze what you won’t use in a week and refrigerate the rest.

Corn muffin mix
    Liver Brownies

  • 1 box of corn muffin mix
  • 1 lb. of beef or chicken livers
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of minced garlic

Liquefy livers in food processor, pour into mixing bowl and add other ingredients. Mix until smooth like a brownie batter. Cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil, grease, and spread out a thin layer of the batter until it's evenly spread about 1/3 inch thick. Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes. When cool cut into squares or whatever shapes you prefer. I keep them in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator. Freeze anything you will not use in a week.
